Rhythm and Sticks and The Druids will headline the 2024 Blue Jean Country Queen Festival in the Darnley Lodge Hotel, Athboy this coming June Bank Holiday weekend.

Cavan-based band Rhythm and Sticks will perform at the Blue Jean Country Queen Festival 2024 on Saturday 1st June in the Darnley Lodge Hotel.
The five-piece Celtic, country, and folk group have been performing since 2014 and are no strangers to performing at Macra na Feirme events

The Druids, Sunday 2nd June

While on Sunday 2nd June, The Druids, an Irish folk group renowned for their captivating storytelling will be on hand to lead the celebrations following the coronation of the 2024 Blue Jean Country Queen. Established in 2008, The Driuds have since enchanted audiences across the United States, Europe, and the United Kingdom.

About The Festival

The Blue Jean Country Queen Festival organized by Meath Macra na Feirme in collaboration with the local community. Established in 1987, the festival mixes community and family focused events with live entertainment which all takes place alongside the Blue Jean Country Queen competition – a fun and not too serious personality competition, in which over 20 young women from all over Ireland and abroad vie to become the Blue Jean Country Queen.
