Meath Macra na Feirme are delighted to announce that The Blue Jean Country Queen Festival 2026 will take place on the June Bank Holiday Weekend (29th-31st May) in Athboy Co. Meath. Since 1987, the iconic local festival, which is proudly sponsored by Le Chéile Credit Union, has been bringing thousands of people to Meath for a weekend of live music, family-friendly activities, and to see the crowning of the Blue Jean Country Queen.

The festival organising committee is delighted to announce the musical lineup for this year’s festival.

The Rurals

Midlands-based folk and trad-influenced duo The Rurals will perform on Saturday, 30th May at the 2026 Blue Jean Country Queen Festival.

The Blarneys

While energetic & electric Irish folk/rock band The Blarneys will be on stage Sunday 31st May to help celebrate the crowning of the 2026 Blue Jean Country Queen

Live music will take place on Saturday, 30th and Sunday 31st May in The Darnley Lodge Hotel.

As well as live music, the festival weekend will also include free family-friendly activities, Queens’ Interviews, karaoke, and much more to be announced.
