The Blue Jean Country Queen Festival is volunteer-run festival organized by Meath Macra na Feirme. The festival has taken place in Athboy, Co. Meath since 1987 and centers around the competition to crown the Blue Jean Country Queen.

The contestants in the Blue Jean Country Queen must be members of Macra na Feirme or equavalent organisations abroad. Although it is a competition – the main objective is for the contestants to have fun. While the Queens do take part in both formal and informal interviews they also play fancy dress football, karaoke and much of the weekend is spent socializing with their fellow Queens.
